Configure your sound settings just as you like them with the EQ feature.

Note: You can change your EQ setting only with a paid plan.

To change your EQ setting:

1. Tap Library.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Playback settings.

4. Tap EQ and select a setting.

Note: The EQ feature is not applied to purchased songs, local music, and music videos.

With the Loudness Normalization feature, you can adjust songs with differing volumes to the same volume.

To set the Loudness Normalization feature:

1. Tap Library > Settings > Playback settings > Loudness Normalization.

2. Turn Enable Normalization ON or OFF.

Turning on Enable Normalization lets you select your preferred volume from five preset volumes.

Note:

- If you turn this feature on, the volume will initially be set to the recommended volume.

- This feature is not applied to songs you purchased, local music, or music videos.

If you've turned on Enable Normalization, you can also turn the Preserve Original Quality setting on or off. With this setting on, song volumes are adjusted without affecting their original sound quality.

You can check song lyrics using one of the following methods.

Note: Some songs may not have lyric data that can be displayed.

• Tap the speech bubble icon at the bottom of the full player screen.

• Tap "..." at the top right of the full player screen > See lyrics.

• Tap the two lines of song lyrics displayed under the album artwork in the full player.

Note: Songs with lyric data display two lines of the song lyrics under the album artwork in the full player.

If there's a translation of a song's lyrics, an on/off button for translated song lyrics will appear at the bottom right of the song lyrics screen.

Note: Translated song lyrics aren't provided for every song.

You can view Japanese kana readings (furigana) on top of the Korean lyrics for some K-Pop songs with the furigana for song lyrics feature. You can turn furigana on and off by tapping the furigana button at the bottom right of the song lyrics screen.

To display synced lyrics:

1. Select a song.

2. Bring up the song lyrics screen.

3. Tap Seek (the menu icon) at the bottom right of the lyrics screen.

The optical character recognition (OCR) feature searches for song information in photos and lets you quickly add those songs to a playlist.

To use OCR:

1. Save a photo of a list of songs from the internet.

2. Tap Library > Playlists.

3. Tap Upload images, or tap an existing playlist.

4. If you're adding songs to an existing playlist, tap "..." > Edit > the music note icon.

5. Select your saved photo.

6. Check the songs that were added to the playlist and tap Done.

Local Music is a feature that allows you to listen to music already saved on your device in LINE MUSIC.

When you change or delete the music saved on your device, the changes will automatically be made in the app.

Note: There is no feature to edit or delete music in the LINE MUSIC app.

Music already saved on your device appears under Local and you can listen to it right from the LINE MUSIC app.

Downloads is where you can save your favorite songs, albums, and playlists from LINE MUSIC, then play them offline without using data.

You can use Mixtape for you if you set your preferences.

To set your preferences for the first time:
Tap the Home tab > Today > the Pick your favorite artists banner and choose your favorite artists.

To set your preferences after the first time:
Tap the Home tab> Today > more to the right of Mixtape for you > Preferences at the top right of the screen, and then choose your favorite artists.

When you like or dislike songs, it affects your music recommendations.

Like a song, album, playlist, music video, or artist to add it to your library and get more recommendations for similar content.

Dislike a song, and similar songs will be removed from your music recommendations.
Note:
- You can only select Dislike for songs and artists.
- You cannot select Dislike for albums, playlists, and music videos.

Check the sections below on how to like/dislike content.

Songs

• Tap and hold a song or tap "..." to the right of the song in a playlist, then tap Like or Dislike.
• On the full-screen player, tap the heart icon to the right of the song title to like the song.

Albums

• Tap and hold an album in a list of albums, then tap Like.
• Tap the heart icon at the top of the album screen to like the album.

Note: "under10" will appear for albums with fewer than 10 Likes.

Playlists

• Tap and hold a playlist in a list of playlists, then tap Like.
• Tap the heart icon at the top of the playlist screen to like the playlist.

Note: "under10" will appear for playlists with fewer than 10 Likes.

Music videos

• Tap and hold the music video or tap "..." at the bottom right of a music video, then tap Like.
• On the full-screen player, tap the heart icon to the right of the music video title to like the video.

Artists

• Tap and hold an artist in a list of artists, then tap Like or Dislike.
• Tap the heart icon at the top of the artist screen to like the artist.

Note: "under10" will appear for artists with fewer than 10 Likes.
