Settings/Profile

You need to register your device in order to download songs you purchased with Coins or backup and restore your data.
Note: The ability to purchase songs with Coins ended on April 4, 2022.

You can register up to 10 devices and delete up to 5 a year. These registration restrictions will reset every year on January 1.

Be advised

You can only register the device on which you are performing the steps.
Note: You cannot register the information of other devices.

To register a device:
1. Tap the Library tab at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap Settings > Manage device registration.
3. Tap Register current device > Confirm.

To delete a device:
1. Tap the Library tab at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap Settings > Manage device registration.
3. Tap the trash can icon > Confirm.

You can register to display on your LINE MUSIC profile a username, profile photo, the artists and songs you like, and more.

Through your LINE MUSIC profile, you'll be able to enjoy music with many friends, not limited to just your friends on LINE.

You can choose what content to share in your profile, as well as who can see it, from your profile settings. There are two profile privacy settings: Anyone and Approved Followers.

You can check or change your LINE MUSIC profile with either of the following methods.

• Tap your profile photo at the top right of the Home tab > View Profile > Edit Profile.
• Tap the Library tab > Settings > View Profile > Edit Profile.

You can set what content is shared on your LINE MUSIC profile from the Edit profile screen.

To change what content is shared on your profile:

1. Tap Library > Settings.

2. Tap View Profile.

3. Tap Edit Profile.

4. Configure what you want to share under Share on your profile.

You can share your LINE MUSIC profile using one of the following methods.

To share your LINE MUSIC profile from the profile screen:

1. Tap Library > Settings > your profile photo or username.

2. Tap "..." at the top right of the screen.

3. Tap Share This Profile.

4. Select a method to share your profile.

To share your LINE MUSIC profile from the Add Friends screen:

1. Tap Library > Settings > your profile photo or username.

2. Tap Followers or Following > the silhouette icon at the top right of the screen.

3. Copy the link under Invite Friends and share it.

You'll see the profile items the users you follow share, from among their registered usernames and profile photos, the artists and songs they like, and more.

Also, if a user has their LINE MUSIC profile privacy setting set to Approved Followers, you can see their profile information after they approve your request to follow them.

You can see your followers and who you're following from your LINE MUSIC profile.

To check your Followers and Following lists:

You can unfollow someone from their LINE MUSIC profile screen or your Following list.

To unfollow someone from their profile:

1. Go to the user's profile.

2. Tap Following.

To prevent other users from following you without your approval, you can set your LINE MUSIC profile privacy setting to Approved Followers.

If you've already approved a follow request from someone but don't want to be followed by them, you can block them.

Note:

- Blocked users cannot follow you or view your profile information.

- If you block someone, you will automatically unfollow each other (if either of you is following the other).

You can block a specific user from their LINE MUSIC profile.

To block a user:

1. Go to their profile.

2. Tap "..." at the top right of the screen.

3. Tap Block > Block.

4. Tap OK.

You can unblock someone from their LINE MUSIC profile screen or your Blocked accounts list.

To unblock someone from their profile:

1. Go to the user's profile.

2. Tap Unblock > Unblock.

To unblock someone from your Blocked accounts list:

1. Tap Library > Settings.

2. Tap View Profile.

3. Tap Edit Profile > Blocked accounts.

4. Tap Unblock next to the user > Unblock.
